PEEV'D

PEEV'D is animated Series (WIP) set in Brooklyn 2095 following James, a hybrid Lion-Human Guitarist who is down on his luck and gets a bar job to survive. Now working at "The Coop" he discovers that his coworkers and the Owner"Coq", a 115yr old war veteran Rooster-Human, is up to something shady when they're not slinging drinks.

"Peev'd" is currently in pre-production with Digital/Social Media Shorts in Production. The process of making this series a reality has been a long one, ranging from environment studies, music production, Scientific research, and lots of writing. ​​​​​​

"The goal and reason I wanted to make this series was to show a future worth hoping for when most film and TV shows give us a gloomy dystopian future. I believe that art leads reality and that our world needs a positive outlook to progress. The other reason I wanted to create this series was to show a future that included Black and underrepresented cultures and to show discrimination from an objective perspective. No offense to Star Trek and the others, but I need a little Swag in my Utopian drama.

Peev'd is set to showcase wonderful technology, stunning graphics, and beautifully imaginative worlds, but a perfect world is boring cinema. One of the key concepts of this show is that technology does not make the "man"( or human/animal hybrid). A concept I summarize with my own quote:

'No matter how advanced the doorway, there will always be an a**hole to stand in it.'

The show's drama is the relationships we have as a society, and the limitations of our social interactions. Filled with assholes, weirdos, emancipated robots, and murderous villains, Peev'd is anything but a boring optical flare fest."
